Beginning in 2007, LEGO introduced 10182 Cafe Corner for the ever growing number of Adult Fans of LEGO (AFOLs), a massive set for it's genre that included over a 2,000 pieces, three minifigures, and realistic architectural details and an enormous “HOTEL” sign latched onto the side. It turned out to be a hit, and in 2007, 10190 Market Street was released as a supplement to Cafe Corner. 10185 Green Grocer followed in 2008 and 10197 Fire Brigade in September of 2009. Then in March of 2010, 10211 Grand Emporium was released and soon became a Top Rated set for the LEGO Company.
Aside from Market Street, each set carries over 2,000 pieces and a starting cost of $149.99. However, the vast amount of building ideas and pieces soon make up for that fact, and offer an unlimited amount of inspiration, the outcomes of which can be viewed throughout this blog and the Web.
