The rumors were true - the next official modular is a indeed a Town Hall! Clocking in as the largest release in the line to date, both in height and piece count, LEGO has also included 8 minifigures - quite an impressive number. Start saving your pennies (or currency of choice) now so that you can pick one up when they start showing up in stores come March. On Sunday, January 22, 2012 at 12:00pm Nathan Sawaya, renowned LEGO® artist, will be giving an inspirational talk at the Morris Museum in Morristown, NJ with a book signing to follow. Nathan Sawaya will be at the museum signing autographs following the talk (1-4pm). Advance registration is required for the inspirational talk. Contact 973-971-3706. Tickets are $20 Non-members and $15 Members for the Inspirational talk (Includes museum admission to see the Art of the Brick® exhibit)
ReplyDeleteFor the big LEGO® fans, the Museum will be hosting a Coffee with the Creator… of Art of the Brick® from 10:30-11:30am. Registration (Limited to only 30 people!) for Coffee with the Creator… of Art of the Brick is $100 per ticket and will include:
• The opportunity to meet and speak with the artist before we open the museum to the general public
• Breakfast buffet
• Ticket and VIP seating for inspirational talk in the Theatre (12:00pm)
• Art of the Brick poster autographed by the artist, Nathan Sawaya
