RedBubble T-Shirt Winners!

Our first winner is L@go, who built an amazing scooter dealer and headquarters for the widely known Octan Gas. Along with having a fantastic exterior, the interior is just as awesome.Head on over to Flickr to see the rest of his creation!

And our second winner is none other than BrickCityDepot (or Brian Lyles of MOCpages.) His entry is a set of houses modeled after a pair in Richmond, Virginia. The gabled dormers are about as good as you're gonna get and the eloquent design of each with their bay windows, steep sloped roofs, and traditional porches are terrific. And last but not least is the Apartment Building by Jason Spears. You always have to appreciate what a builder can do with a limited amount of pieces, and in this case, tan bricks. It's so easy to see this scrunched in between two other buildings in the heart of a big city, and I really like the "bricked" up effect of some of the windows. I'm so happy to see a hotel MOC show up, and this one definitely has a certain elegant style to it. I really like that entry way, and who CAN'T like that car. It's rich and the 1950s style of it is perfect. Great hotel and set up!

Downtown Dominance

Bill Ward took some great pictures from Brickworld 2011 in the Lake Michigan Ballroom. The building on the corner has a great early-20th century look to it. I wish I had that much dark red!

The Pub for Pigs

Not the animals, but the grungy humans that stumble in and out on a regular basis. It's a great building for it too. The pig complements the bright yellow sign wonderfully. Cheers!

It took Brick Town Talk about four years to pull off, but we finally made it. Yesterday was our 1000th post! I have to thank Brick Street and all the viewers and contributors to this blog for pulling it off. Without you it wouldn't have been possible.

Cabin in the Woods

I'm always happy to see a log cabin creation. It reminds me of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and how much I want to go back! All the details are right, and I really like that chimney and truck. Good work!

The Old Town District

Want realism? Well here it is. The relatively vibrant brown and dark green (the first floor is awesome, by the way) go well with the dull gray and black. Two terrific buildings, and their interiors, that really make you want to build something. Keep it up, Brian!
