I really like this model. The transition in the tower from brick to the wood style siding common in Europe is very neat. I really need to buys some train stuff here soon....
Speaking of which, I'm doing a research paper on the train industry in North America, and it's apparent "revival" in the United States. For all of you train fans out there, do you think there is going to be a major growth in the industry? Just curious as to what you think. Leave a comment or thought!
The sand baseplate looks better than the gray. (I'm a So. California train fan.)
ReplyDeleteI agree. It gives more of that rural feel to it in my opinion.
ReplyDeleteOver here in Europe and especially the Netherlands there have been some major investments in the train industry. The Betuwelijn (Betuweline) runs from the port of Rotterdam (one of the worlds largest harbours) to the Ruhr area, one of Germany's largest industrial area's. The line opened about a year ago after about 10 years of construction.
