LEGO Factory Gallery: a world of cool creations to be found
Hi all
When looking for cool creations made with the new space sets, I found the modular buildings gallery in LEGO factory, and I was astonished with the quallity and number of really cool models I found there.
Check this one:
Made by the user copperwonder96 and called Blue Barbershop.
And another great thing about these models it's that they can be downloaded by anyone in *.lfx, so that you can see them in LDD.

Loft Update.
I went into the loft at 7.30 this morning with the intension of building with LEGO - ended up rearranging things - sawing bits off the display, going to B&Q to get some more wood... Getting home and realising I didn't have the right nails etc, etc... anyway - here's an update. I made two new tables, so the display will be even bigger. The main reason is I wanted to make an Amsterdam style street. This is now incorporated onto the original tables. The farm and the campsite for the cubs can go on the new tables. I've made more room in the port / dock area because I purchased a second harbor set on Ebay.
I came down from the loft eventually at 7.30 this evening. Hopefully I'll be able to get at the bricks tomorrow. Fingers crossed.

Alex54 a french fellow from Eurobricks has a town project not following the scale and proportions of the modular sets released by LEGO. Still when you open his folder you can find the cutest version of the CC!
Anyways he has a whole bunch of amazingly done buildings worth of your time!
Check it out!
Also de EB topic.
Keep up the great work!

Real life Cafe Corner
It really does look like the Cafe Corner. Was this maybe one of the buildings in which Jamie found his inspiration?

Not much to look at... Yet!
Nowhere near complete - but here's what I managed to do yesterday - mainly creating the different levels in wood. I didn't have the energy to build with LEGO yesterday - but - if you are familiar with this Blog, you will know I want to take my time to get it right. You will also notice that it is nothing like the original drawing that I posted last year. I found once I started to place models that a. you couldn't see them very well (and as they are soooo expensive I wanted to see them) b. they took up more space than I thought - even though it was a scale drawing. Since the drawing I have doubled the size of the layout. From the first picture you will see it goes off in an L-shape, it continues around and there is another full size table on the other side. I hope to get into the loft again today.
